Where to begin! Nico was simply phenomenal from the very first meeting we had with him. We met with several music vendors, but Nico understood our vibe and vision from the very beginning.
He was never pushy, took the time to explain all our options and was incredibly patient while we worked out exactly what we wanted. He stayed in touch throughout the lead-up to the wedding, even just checking in just to see how the planning was going, and genuinely made the entire process so much easier. Planning an Italian wedding from Australia can be challenging, and Nico’s care, communication, proactivity, and exceptional service made all the difference.
The delivery on the day was nothing short of incredible. Everything was exactly as we had imagined, and Nico and his team went above and beyond at every opportunity. The Fiat 500 DJ setup was exceptional, and the driver even kindly allowed us to use the car for some of our wedding photos. The saxophonist was an absolute highlight for our guests and quickly became part of the party, everyone loved him!

We booked Glissando for our Tuscany wedding and they were amazing! From our very first conversation, they made the planning process so easy and truly understood our vision. We had a violinist and pianist for our ceremony, a saxophonist during the aperitif, a jazz duo for dinner, and a saxophone/DJ combination for the reception. Every part of the day flowed nicely, sounded beautiful, and everyone loved it all!

REVIEW BY A WEDDING PLANNER! For a wedding in Italy, the bride brought in her own DJ and MC, a friend she went to high school with, all the way from Las Vegas. He was fantastic, but he had never worked at this venue and didn't speak the language, so we needed a local partner to make it all come together. This company was exactly that. They rented us the equipment and then went so far above and beyond what we hired them for.
They were on site the entire event handling sound and AV, and they took the lead on coordinating with the venue and the lighting company on our behalf. As the wedding planner coming in from America myself, I was navigating the same language barrier, and they stepped right in to manage that on the ground. When they saw the venue layout, they even brought in additional speakers to make the sound better, instead of just delivering exactly what was ordered. They truly cared about every detail from start to finish and communicated with us the entire time. A huge reason the day felt flawless.

We had a fantastic experience with Glissando Music Events in Follonica. From start to finish, they were incredibly attentive and kept us fully informed throughout the booking process, including all the contracts and details.
Nico was super nice and easy to talk to, he really made everything simple and stress-free. We hired the 5 piece band, and they were excellent! The musicians were talented, the set list was spot on, and they created such a great atmosphere.
The set list was perfect with all, the wedding classics also Italian songs too.
The DJ setup rental was seamless too, high-quality Pioneer decks at a very competitive price. We had a friend DJ, who just plugged in his USB stick and got started.
We also hired a guitar and amp for my father to play, again at a great price and with no hassle.
All our guests commented on how good the band was and we all thoroughly enjoyed dancing to the music.
All in all, it was a great experience, and I’d certainly recommend Glissando Music Events for anyone looking for a wedding band or live music in the area!

Wow! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing Glissando. Nico is amazing and is always on hand to answer any questions in the build up, he helped with every detail and everything we asked was answered quickly. At the welcome party and on the day all the team were fantastic. The band were the highlight of the pizza party and we had so many comments about how great they were. The DJ had everyone dancing all night at the wedding and a big shout out to the amazing violinist who played both our requests and gave the ceremony such a personal touch. Thank you Nico and the team! It wouldn't have been the same without you.

I could not rate Glissando higher. From the very first video call with Nico to the on the day event it’s all been first class. Nico was so communicative with us, I never had to chase him and infact he was asking me for information that I hadn’t even thought of yet. We used Glissando for the whole day, strings trio for our ceremony, background music and tech support during the dinner and speeches with DJ Stefano with sax and percussion in the evening. The trio were fantastic, even learning a very obscure song that we love (Nico organised getting it arranged for strings for us). The use of microphones and speakers worked very well for the dinner with everyone being able to hear everything well. And as for the DJ with sax and percussion OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I didn’t leave the dance floor all night!! Of all the suppliers we used for our wedding Glissando were the best to communicate with and bought first class quality music and service on the day. We hired Glissando Agency for our wedding at San Galgano Abbey and from start to finish Nico and his team were a pleasure to work with! Nico arranged a harpist for the ceremony, jazz trio for aperitif, and DJ for the dancing. Having one agency to work with for all the musicians is amazing when you're in the middle of wedding planning. And communication through the whole process was amazing! All of our guests enjoyed the music and only had positive things to say. If you're looking for music for any event, I can't recommend Glissando Agency enough!

Nico and team provided an excellent service for our wedding in Italy at San Galgano. We had a Strings Quartet for our ceremony and aperitif which all sounded very classy. We then had a DJ and saxophone artist for the party which was great. Every time loved the saxophone. Nico also helped provide a post wedding service for us whilst we had a BBQ.
Nico managed it all seamlessly throughout the day. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Really responsive and thorough in their email communication during the whole wedding planning phase.

The entire team that participated was made up of excellent musicians and Nico knew how to manage everything in the best possible way, setting up the different areas of the ceremony in an optimal way. From our first point of contact via email, Nico made sure he responded promptly and offered great help where needed. He was also more than happy to move his DJ set outside to accommodate our outdoor wedding.
We gave him a playlist of 25-30 songs which him and his team then added their own song recommendations to which linked to the style of songs we had chosen - this created a fantastic playlist which all our guests loved and which we will continue to listen to in the future.
On the actual wedding day, Nico and his team were brilliant in the way they read the dancefloor, always ensuring the song choices kept everyone dancing. The DJ also kept regular contact with the bride and groom and switched songs in and out based on our reaction which we absolutely loved!

I would highly recommend Glissando for your upcoming wedding or event! I worked with Nico from the beginning and he shared different music options with different price points because I was unsure exactly what I wanted in the beginning. I ended up going with a DJ for my wedding which was absolutely perfect! The DJ was Manuel who arrived early and was very precessional. He played all the requested songs for the entrances and brought the party songs after the dinner. They are basically your one stop shop and super easy to work with especially for those planning a destination wedding. Nico always responded quickly and they played our recommending songs from the Spotify playlist too. Overall I am extremely happy I booked with Glissando!

I found Glissando’s information due to seeing an abundance of events that took place in Italy featuring their music. Nico was a pleasure to work with and was always on top of everything. Response time from Nico was very quick although living in another time zone. We chose a harpist (Andrea) and a DJ (Stefano) for our reception and we couldn’t have asked for a better artists! Everything was amazing and we couldn’t recommend them more!

THE BEST! We used Nico and his team for our small wedding in Tuscany in April and it was perfect start to finish. Nico played the piano for our ceremony and crushed it! We had some slight odd song choices and he adapted piano only versions that were perfect. For our cocktail hour they jammed out and our guests were loving it. We had a DJ set for the dinner into the dancing portion and we had a blast. He worked with our location to fit within the small space and coordinated with all our vendors to put on a fantastic event. We can’t recommend him enough!

We hired Nico and his wonderful musicians for two separate events and could not have been happier with the turn out. For our wedding the piano playing was absolutely beautiful and was able to play all the songs we requested. Later in the evening a pop/jazz trio played a mixture of soft and upbeat songs to entertain guests while we waited for dinner. The music added a perfect background to the event and created a cozy, warm atmosphere for all.
We also were able to have a small swing band/Dixie band perform during a pool side BBQ and they were fantastic! The guests loved having the band there and were just such a joy to have. Thank you Nico!

Renowned pianist and gifted composer, Nico has been an active force in the music industry since 2001. With his extensive experience working closely with clients from all over the world, he founded Glissando Music 4 Events Agency in 2018, driven by his unwavering dedication to providing exceptional quality music.
